Auction House — How It Works
The Auction House lets players buy and sell Joules, Miners, Crate Keys, and Cooling Items directly with each other using satoshis. Use the command /inventory to list an item and browse active listings.
Listing an Item
Run /inventory, choose an item type, set your price and duration.
A listing deposit is deducted from your balance immediately — it is refunded when your item sells and forfeited if it expires or you cancel.
Deposit amounts scale with the listing price and chosen duration.
Buying an Item
Click Buy Now on any active listing.
Your balance is deducted immediately. The item goes into escrow — it is not transferred until the seller confirms.
You will receive a DM with your purchase receipt and options.
Platform Cut (5%)
When your item sells, you receive a Lightning invoice for 5% of the sale price.
Pay the invoice to collect your full proceeds. If you ignore it, the cut is deducted automatically after 24 hours.
Escrow & Delay Penalty
After a sale, the item is held in escrow until the seller pays the cut invoice or the 24-hour window expires.
2-hour grace period — no penalty if you pay within 2 hours.
After the grace period: 0.5% of the sale price per hour, capped at 15%.
Decay is split 70% to the community prize pool and 30% to the server.
Buyer Reminders
As a buyer you can send the seller up to 3 reminders via the button in your DM.
Reminders have a 4-hour cooldown between uses.
The bot also automatically reminds sellers at 1h, 4h, and 12h after a sale.
Reversals & Cancellations
Sellers can reverse a sale at any time before the 24h window closes — the buyer is fully refunded and the item returns to the seller, but the listing deposit is forfeited.
Sellers can cancel an active (unsold) listing at any time — the item is returned but the deposit is forfeited.
Buyers cannot cancel once a purchase is confirmed.
